About Me.
As a heritage stone mason, my work revolves around creating, restoring and preserving beautiful structures. With a deep passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, I have honed my skills over the years to become adept at both traditional and modern techniques. My journey as a stone mason began with a fascination for ancient architecture and the desire to preserve the legacy of stonework at Jervaulx Abbey in 2014. Learning from experienced craftsmen, I acquired a strong foundation in the traditional methods of stone work and lime mortar. This invaluable experience taught me the importance of precision, patience, and the ability to work harmoniously with the natural characteristics of different masonry structures . Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to work on various projects such as Churches, Bridges, Listed Dwellings and new Builds . Each project has provided me with an opportunity to experiment with different types of techniques and resources allowing me to expand my knowledge and versatility as a heritage stone mason.
